# An international history. A new way of working.

EurDesign DG connects language, design and technology to help people and organisations communicate, create and build. Founded in 1996 and coordinated from Berlin, its work draws on an international, multilingual and multidisciplinary background.

## Coordinated from Berlin

Historically, commissions came through Berlin Koordination, where a coordinator assembled a working group for each project. That project-led approach continues today, bringing together AI models and agents, creative and technical tools, and specialist collaborators around the work. Human judgement guides the process throughout.

## Four connected areas

EurBabel handles language and international communication. EurCode covers websites, software and digital products. EurMedia develops identities and multimedia content. EurAI explores and builds products and services made possible by applied artificial intelligence.

## The project shapes the approach

A project may be a translation, a new website, an identity, an assistant or something that brings several disciplines together. We start by understanding what you want to achieve and develop the approach around that. This new chapter of EurDesign DG builds on its experience while exploring what these tools make possible today.
